Tire Lyna remains in a gel state over the entire tread life of the tire. Tire Lyna is considered a tire safety/maintenance product that extends the tread life of any commercial and recreational operated tire as opposed to short-term temporary solution like aerosol tire sealants. The chemistry of Tire Lyna relies upon complex interaction of numerous non toxic chemical agents to work in harmony and protect the tire casing against heat, oxidation damage and road hazards.

Flat tires can cause the rim of the wheel to ride on the tire tread potentially resulting in loss of control of the vehicle or irreparable damage to the wheel assembly. The most common cause of a flat tire is puncturing of the tire by a sharp object, such as thorns, glass or a nail, letting air escape. Depending on the size of the puncture, the tire may deflate slowly or rapidly. Tire leaks and punctures are a huge cost, both money and downtime to fleets and consumers.
