The purpose of this video is to show you how we took a leaking metal roof and made it completely water-tight by using closed-cell polyurethane foam (SPF) and high solids silicone roof coating.
Not only does this add strength and rigidity to the old metal roof, it insulates it so much that utility bills for heating and cooling it will be drastically lower. Additionally, the insulation properties of this system creates a much quieter interior.
As tough as this spray foam and silicone roof coating is, it’s amazingly light-weight. The end result is a seamless, waterproof metal roofing system that is very sustainable and usually pays for itself inside of just a handful of years.
