This will help prevent air and gas leaks in flue and chimney joints and door gaskets. This furnace cement will withstand temperatures up to 2700 Degrees Fahrenheit . NorthlineExpress recommends the use of High Temp Furnace Cement when installing chimney liner as it is easier to remove than high-temp silicon if the need ever arises.
The Rutland Furnace Cement is as hard and durable as firebrick when heat-cured and it adheres tightly to firebrick.
