plaster, it’s everywhere you want to be
Howdy guys and gals, in this video I explain the question are stucco weep or drip screed practical to install at a later date then house was built?
I do this large structural crack image repair by installing elastomeric professional grade caulking and sealant in the crack, then by applying a stucco sand finish over this caulking for cosmetic reasons.
Because this sikaflex caulking is so incredibly strong I expect it to move with the home as a result of expanding and contracting with the elements at work.
The cementitious finish on the top is simply for cosmetic reasons. This is a trade secret that I have used for as long as I have been in the trade, usually almost all materials say to not mix with others, therefor any results you achieve may be that you’re not doing this repair just like old kirk but instead trying to do like old kirk, either way best wishes with whatever method you chose in repairing this type of crack.
