Removing Expanding Foam Polymer Stains From Cloth

A little life hack I recently figured out while refinishing furniture using Minwax furniture refinisher solvent on some old furniture. The stuff is made to dissolve fully cured air dry polymers and does a pretty good job at it. It evaporates and soaks into stuff quickly so you have to work fast with it using steel wool instead of cloth, more on that in the wood refinishing videos tomorrow, but I discovered this is good stuff for getting that expanding foam out of cloth. That stuff is extremely sticky and hard to remove. The solvent works (but not quite as well) on liquid nails too. It is best to scrape the stuff down with a knife prior to using the solvent on it or else it will take too much solvent to dissolve the foam or liquid nails. It does not work as well on latex paint, so this is part of matching the chemical to the job.
