Moldmaking Silicone: Making a silicone mold of a clay original

In this tutorial we mold an original clay sculpt with PlatSil 71-11 silicone. This is the basic method for making a simple block mold of an original sculpt. The sculpture we molded was created by my daughter, Renee, using Protolina Grey-Green clay. For the record, all of our clays are sulfur free on our webstore, so there we have greatly reduced the danger of contamination.
