A quick video tutorial on how to properly waterproof your combat boots.

You may use this method on other types of boots however, this method is the most effective for outdoor/high use boots, where as other shoes may have more effective ways of waterproofing if not being used as frequently.

In this tutorial I’m using “Sno Seal” waterproofing, so it’s almost like a positive review for the product. You can purchase it online or from most camping/outdoor stores for relatively cheap (Around $10AUD). I’ve used a variety of other products on the same boots before and I’ve found “Sno Seal” to be the best bang for your buck product.
I’m also using Garmont T8 combat boots. You can buy these at most military/law enforcement stores or you can purchase them online relatively easy.

Sealing air leakages from very difficult areas like:
the O-ring in split type rims
the bead (bead leakages are not to be confused with O-ring leakages, as the O-ring is almost 5 to 10 cm away from the bead)
Seals ALL pores. Pores are very often found in low cost tyres
Creates patches on the tread area, if the tyre is punctured.
