One of our first and most loyal clients recently brought in his third Chevrolet Corvette Z06, brand-new with only 377 miles, for window tinting and Zaino show car treatment; having had a positive experience with us working on his two previous orange Z06s, he knew we were the right guys for the job. The Z06, a high-performance version of the already sporty Corvette, comes with a 6.2L supercharged LT4 engine with 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS supercharger, which makes 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.

We applied LLumar CTX 40 to the windows, a signal-enabling film that uses Ceramatrix Nano-ceramic technology to offer all the UV and heat protection associated with traditional metallized automotive films without interfering with electronic devices. The CTX 40 film allows 40 percent visible light transmission, perfect for the thirty-five percent limit for vehicles registered in North Carolina. To assure a factory-spec fit the film patterns for each window are generated by the FilmDesign computer program then cut by a machine called a plotter. Having pre-cut film patterns eliminates the chance of your vehicle’s glass being scratched by a knife used to cut the film on each window. The patterns are then heat-formed on the outside of the vehicle to fit the curvature of each window. During this process the film is protected by a clear liner to avoid any possible scratches from the heat-forming process. Afterwards the film liner is discarded and the adhesive side of the film is mounted to the inside of the window using a solution designed specifically for that purpose. Having your windows tinted not only provides you with privacy, but also blocks heat and harmful UV rays while significantly reducing glare.

The beautiful “Orange U Tempted Metallic” paint received a two-step treatment consisting of Zaino Z2 PRO and Z5 PRO show car polishes. Both of these products offer unbeatable gloss, shine, depth, clarity and reflectivity. Both products are optically perfect and contain additives designed to bring out the color of a vehicles paint, they also contain Zaino’s patented Ultra-Gard, a UV protectant that prevents paint shrinkage and fading. Layering these two products improves the uniformity of the surface, hides and fills imperfections even better than they would individually, and improves the gloss, depth, shine, and “wetness” of the vehicle’s paint with each subsequent application.

Over the last decade, many new techniques have evolved for improving the air barriers of buildings.
