Here is a cheep “or free” way to add a silicon rubber boot to your 3d printer hot end. Just use silicon rubber putty. You can buy it at any craft store or on line or if you ask nicely your dentist that uses it for tooth crown impressions might give you some. It takes very little to do any hot end. You mix equal amounts of part A and Part B, it feels like silly putty or soft clay. You only have a few minuets to work with it so work it around the hot end, then once it sets just trim it if need be with a razor blade. Silicon will not stick and is flexible ,so its easy to remove. The silicon rubber has a max temp of 500 to 600 F that would be 230 too 330 C.
