liquid silicone rubber in our company, Shenzhen Hong Ye Jie Technology Co., LTD., is a kind of two part liquid silicone rubber. we have condesation cure liquid mold silicone rubber and addition cure liquid mold silicone rubber. For condesation cure liquid silicone rubber,Part A is white silicone and part B is catalyst or curing agent. when we use it to make the silicone mold for replicating the plaster products, concrete products or else, we need to mix part A and part B evenly, then it can be cured. For addition cure silicone ruuber, Part A and Part B are all called silicone, which is transluent, transparent and high transparent. we also need to mix part A and Part B evenly when we using it. The difference between addition cure silicone and condesation cure silicone is that the shrinkage and the temperature resistance of the addition cure silicone is better and other aspects. but the advantage of the condesation silicone rubber is that it has lower price but still with good quality.

Question:How many kgs of silicone i need to make a mold, like 1m*1m?
Answers: First, you change the “m” to “cm” . then the V(volume)=100cm(length)*100cm(width)*1.5cm(height or thickness) =15000cm3
→ the density of the liquid silicone is 1.1g/cm3→ the quantity= 15000cm3
* 1.1g/cm3=16500g(16.5kg)
Question: How can i know the thickness of the silicone mold?
Answers: For the pouring way, if you do not have a plaster have a base to keep its shape(like square),then we usually suggest that 2-3cm is enough. If yes, then 1-1.5 cm enough.
