After burning up 2 ESC’s due to water damage in my Graupner Hydrospeed RC boat I quickly determined that Liquid Electrical Tape (a derivative of Plasti Dip) just doesn’t cut it for waterproofing. I decided to spend a little more and buy what I think is a permanent solution for my third ESC so I can be done with this once and for all. The two products I used were 3M Scotch Weld DP-270 Potting Compound and Arctic Silver Alumina Thermal Adhesive Epoxy.
