Today we are going to be taking a look at the Slime Tire Sealant. This is a 20 ounce tube for truck or SUV tires. Part number SLN 10012. Slime tire sealant instantly seals tread area punctures up to a quarter inch in size. The fibroseal technology builds up to form a plug that stops air loss. It’s non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable and it’s tire sensor safe.

Quick Tip – 1: Expanding Foam DAPtex Plus. Easy water cleanup.
When using expanding foam sealant you have a few options. The well known can of yellow stuff or a slightly more expensive version that is easily cleaned up with water. Do yourself a favor and grab the stuff that will clean up with water.
I stopped using the yellow stuff after one day of getting the stuff all over my hands and then finding out that it can’t be cleaned up without shedding a layer of skin. People will say I should have used gloves, well I did and I still made a mess. I went on the search for a better product that will clean up easier. I found DAPTex Plus on the shelf at my local home store. It was slightly more expensive then the other yellow stuff but the one big feature, it cleans up with water. I tested it out and it really does clean up with water. It cleans easier if you clean it before it dries but if you don’t then no worries it will still clean up.
This foam doesn’t expand as much as the other yellow stuff but it expands enough to seal most gaps and does the trick.
