Today I’ll be showing you how I made an elephant pendant out of polymer clay.
If you saw my Instagram post, the original pendant was made very quickly and out of anger after seeing pictures of the cruelty that these animals suffer in order to have their ivory harvested. It was sculpted in such a passionate rush, that I didn’t film it. I asked you if you were interested in seeing the process and so many of you said yes across so many platforms, that I had to do it for you.
So, the pendant shown in this tutorial is the “remake” is you’d so like to call it, whose design is slightly different, but the process was practically the same. I will mention the main differences at the end of the video.
This said, I hope you’ll enjoy the video.

✿ BAKING TIPS:
I bake my polymer clay pieces at 110ºC for no longer than 30 minutes at a time.
I prebake them at the same temperature for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of my piece.
Always read the baking instructions for your particular brand of polymer clay, as temperatures and times may vary slightly.
