This video shows you how you can use hot glue to make shells or whatever you like in silicone and cornstarch molds. Here’s the link if you would like to make your own silicone and cornstarch molds.
After the glue was hardened I removed the shells from the mold and painted them using Pebeo Paints.
Supplies I used:
- My homemade silicone and cornstarch molds
-Glue gun and glue sticks
-Scissors
-Pebeo Fantasy Moon paints in silver and sand
-Cheap paint brush
-Paint thinner to clean your brush or work surface
-Embossing heat tool to help Pebeo paint form textures

A demonstration video recorded by Breastmates, to show you how the Silicone Breast Pump can be applied to your breast with a little suction.
The video uses a balloon (instead of a breast and nipple) for ease of showing you the suction action. You just place the silicone breast pump over your breast, with your nipple towards the central opening. Use your breast to create a seal around the outer edge of the silicone breast pump. Then gently squeeze the sides of the bottle to apply suction.
You can see in the video, that the balloon is drawn down into the pump. This is what happens to your nipple, it will be drawn gently into the pump – and this is what releases your milk letdown.
This action works BEST when you are breastfeeding baby on your other side, so do the pump and baby at the same time.
To try and collect more breast milk, keep the same position, with suction, and squeeze the sides of the pump to manually express your nipple.
If you lose suction, just reposition the pump and try again.
In this video we have also tried to demonstrate an alternative method of applying suction. You just flip the edges of the pump inside out, position your breast in the middle, then flip the edges right side out – and bingo! – the suction will apply to your breast. Some mothers find this is a better way to use the Silicone Breast Pump.
This silicone breast pump is just one piece, and the video shows that it is soft flexible silicone. It can be washed in the dishwasher, and is very easy to use. It does come with a cap to keep the contents sterile.
