Although less so these days, resin is often used in making custom puzzles. This video shows what can happen when mixing utensils or the resin itself becomes contaminated by such things as moisture, fly spray (don’t ask), fairy liquid or many other seemly harmless substances.
I carelessly left some resin in an open container for several days. When I came to use it the result was not what I was hoping for. Afterwards I still had a little left over so made this video. I am not entirely sure what the contamination was but suspect it was either moisture in the air or a small amount of vapour from some fly spray.
Why did I upload this? Just to show that you must be careful when working with this kind of resin.
