A video on how to do something your not suppose to do, lol. The steps we used in this in video include: Step #1 – Sand the metal Step #2 Clean the metal, Step #3 Spray adhesion promoter, Step #4 spray the clear. We used PPG DCU 2060 Flexed N Flat matte finish clear coat.
So this step by step video video is showing all of the steps involved in clearcoating over bare steel. The bare metal cabinet must be sanded properly for the clear to stick. The clearcoat we used in this video si PPG DCU 2060. This will give you a Matte, Satin, Flat type of appearance. This is much better than using Rattle Can Clear. This is something for any DIY home garage painter.
